We are Warren and Veldene, and this is a peek into our story.

We officially met when we were just 16 (although to be fair, we actually met 16 years earlier, but we’ll tell you THAT tale another time!) We said our hellos, some idle chit chat, and never saw each other again for 2 years.

At age 18 we met again, this time at a Bible School in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, and became best friends immediately, and BF/GF soon after! Dating at 18, engaged at 19, and married by 20! When you know, you know.

Having been raised with similar values and a strong Faith, we found ourselves weaving through the many stages of life with ease and grace (most days!)

We’ve been married for over 30 years, lived in 5 homes, two provinces, 3 cities, owned dozens of vehicles, had many jobs including corporate careers as well as entrepreneurial, and raised two beautiful children.

We love to travel, value a healthy lifestyle, are both creative, fun, and open to new opportunities. Our chronological age doesn’t define us, it only serves to give us the wisdom to know what we don’t know and strive to be better each and every day.

We co-created this Blog for couples just like us. Couples that are head over heels in love and totally into each other after years of togetherness, and just want to upgrade their relationship to make the most of it. And, for couples who may have lost that spark, and are looking for ideas and ways to get it back. We’re here for you. And we’d love to learn from you as well!
